Slash V Texas Buckeye Tess STDsc was bought sight unseen with two main criteria:  no blue eyes and the least dense coat of the females.  Tess developed into perhaps the most complete working dog at Hardin’s Aussies.  She had enough eye and plenty of power to hit either end with equal confidence.  She was lost early in life to an auto accident. Fancy was the merle female selected out of the second litter sired by Max out of Tess. Fancy has developed into a very nice working dog.  She works with a lot of eye and finesse. Her gathering instincts are very adequate and she has excellent balance on stock. She has enough power on cattle but not the level that was expected from the Max x Tess cross.
